The one feature of this team that makes many fans attend is that the players sleep and bathe in Warpstone (and some eat it). However these teams often have very poor records as they spend most of their time infighting and blaming each other for the errors for each play. The Underworld Creepers are the best known and most successful of these Underworld teams to date. I like black orcs too but they are objectively terrible.On occasion the Skaven and Goblins living below all the hated races walking above in the sun team together to form Blood Bowl teams. You should probably play a different team. In fact even hybrid teams can bash the piss out of black orcs with a determined coach and even the odd passing team. So that being said, it seems like this is a bashy team that just isn't. On blodgers like dancers and Amazon's, 1 die blocks are straight up 16% chance of success, 33 percent chance of bad time. Amazon's are the worst because you only have a roughly 16 percent chance to take them out on a 1 die (without going down yourself) and that only goes up to around 30% chance on a 2 die block. Smart blocks with Amazon or dark Elf blitzers, even wardancers, will absolutely stun and surprise a black orc team. but most other bashy teams have way better fighting skills at the start, and even some non bashy teams too for that matter. The problem here is that black orc teams are a bashy team. Because that little guy is basically just as likely as the big guy is to take one another down.
This same thing is why big guys are scared of troll slayers on dwarf teams. So if you two die uphill a black orc and you have block, your chances are actually marginally worse to have an attacker down result forced upon you than your opponents chance of going down on their own one die block against you. On the 2 die uphill side of things, a big risk is run but about 12 result combinations of the 32 possible combinations involve going down. When a team with lots of block fights black orcs, they can afford to throw two die uphills or 1 die blocks because they will put a black orc down on the pitch 50% of the time on a 1 die block. When you have 6 black orcs you are virtually guaranteed to have a bad block every single turn. Brawler can help on half of those rolls but again, still a 1 in 3 to go down. On 1 die blocks, black orcs go down 33% of the time. There's still a 33% chance that the one rerolled die is a bad one You can consider a rerolls an odd reducer but because you are scrapping a die, you're really just getting another chance at the same odds. On two dice in their favour, they have 32 odds, and 4 bad results (1AD,2AD,-1AD,2BD- 1BD,2AD, and 1BD,2BD) this means they still have a more than 10% chance to fail blocks. 2 results out of 6 on those dice are bad for black orcs (yes they can rerolls 1 both down, but it could still become an attacker down.) When black orcs fight smaller guys, they roll 2 dice.
